Monet’s gardens in Giverny, France

COMING SOON!

Two day workshop, June 3rd and 4th, at the Beaverbrook Gallery.

Plein Air painting in June along the stunning St John River in Fredericton NB.

This workshop will focus on landscape painting. Inspired by Beaverbrook’s Tom Thomson’s landscape painting “Spring”. Over the course of 2 days, 6 hours per day, we will learn about light, perspective, atmospheric perspective, creating depth, colour, value and temperature as a means of describing space within a composition. We will learn about the different types of composition and how to find them in the environment we are working from. I will be painting along with everyone else, providing demos and references as the days go on.
